For my next template design I decided to add the title name and my tagline and release date. The text for this layout is still basic as I hadn't made decisive choices on my fonts. My image will still be over the poster but the focus has shifted more to the image and release date..

Looking at many other movie posters I follow the conventions by still having a central image, information at the bottom and the title at the top.

A2 Planning - Layout 1

This layout is how I originally designed my poster to look like. I used simple text and a clear font to outlay where I wanted everything to be set on my poster. My image was to be over the poster but the principle area was to be eye line of the figure that was to be my main image.

I wanted the title to striking but recognisable to the audience.

This compared to many other movie posters shows that it conforms to the conventions by having a layout like the one above.
