Trailer Movie Night - A2

After making our trailers we invited a test panel of 50 people to view them. Our testing panel was made up of 25 males and females between the ages of 16 and 25, and this range meant we could get honest feedback and constructive criticism  from our target audiences.

Promotion

To promote our event we designed a poster which included all four of our posters. This was a efficient  way of attracting people to take a ticket and turn up to our event. Having all four of our posters on it meant that if someone was interested in one poster, they saw all the trailers on offer, so we all got feedback.

Another method we used to attract people was to offer free refreshments. This was not only an incentive but a thanks for to the people who came to our presentation as we wanted them to give us their views about the trailers.

Feedback

After showing both the trailers, the original and then the extended, my feedback showed the audience preferred the extended version. They also criticised the repetitive music and the fact that there was little change in pitch and tempo when the action scenes were taking place.
